This is the Jacuzzi room of a house in Little Venice in north west London, originally painted plain white – this room seemed clinical.

The frescoes of ancient Pompeii came to mind – the client agreed – and I took it from there.

N.B. There are not two Jacuzzis, just one full length mirror reflecting the other side of the room.
